Spring in the Mitten
It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Something new is sprouting. It is spring in Michigan, after all. Birdsong calls our attention outside, tells us to come and look.
For The Thing With Feathers, building the nest is never complete. It can always be improved, and sometimes repairs are necessary.
In education, nests are very important. To quote Dr. Lori Desautels,
“When we prepare a nest for our students, we are planning, constructing and cultivating an environment that meets the bio-social and emotional needs of our students! Nests are created by many materials that hold it together for strength and endurance.”
The Thing With Feathers is building a star-spangled nest, and you’re invited.
